Actually I use Quarterback Tools for bed sectors on Amiga....the program creates a file named 'bad.blocks'...so the rest of the floppy/HDD can be used for normal reading/writing.....but I think it works only with Commodore file systems (OFS, FFS...) and not with the 'new' ones like PFS, AFS, etc...
