Sound quality in macOS
Something I have never been able to get working perfectly in macOS is the sound output. No matter what I do with audio buffers, caches, memory settings, trying different machine types etc., I have never been able to completely stop a certain amount of sound skipping/popping in a range of different games.
Does anyone have any suggestions for the 'ideal' sound settings or is it really down to a game-by-game trial-and-error process? Are there known issues with Amiga sound emulation on the macOS vs. Windows? |

What hardware do you have? I’ve never had an issue with sound on any Mac I’ve used.

I tend not to use any audio buffer settings, just sticking with the default (as it seems to do nothing). |
