As far as I am aware, there aren't any drivers for this. It might plug in without damaging anything (assuming it is a 16-bit PCMCIA-II card, not a 32-bit CardBus jobbie), but it won't be usable.
There are drivers for Compact Flash PCMCIA readers, though, available from the Aminet - http://de.aminet.net |

You couldn't fit the card in because it is the wrong type - to prevent exactly what you were attempting, manufacturers made CardBus-type PCMCIA cards incompatible with 16-bit PCMCIA-II slots.
As for the SCSI question: No. It was probably possible to get a SCSI PCMCIA interface at some point, and this file contains drivers. Alternatively, these drivers are an attempt at making any PCMCIA storage device look like a SCSI device to the Amiga - the Amiga usually sees any drive that isn't a floppy as a SCSI device. Why not try downloading the archive and looking through its documentation? |

Exactly correct. I had an SCSI Adaptec PCMCIA cardreader in a workstation at work. We used it to program PCMCIA HD's and GPS cards back in the day. I assume that is what this driver is for.

Dude, you are NEGLECTING serial transfer without even trying it. THAT is an easy method but you don't want to use it.

amiga explorer and a null modem cable connected to a decent pc is about as easy as it gets (but slow)
amiga explorer also works with a network card, but its not as easy to setup |
