Not all Games showing

Sorry to have to ask this, I have asked before I think on other forums, but I have never got a definitive answer.

I just wonder why all games that are available at http://oagd.net do not show in FS-UAE even after logging in and refreshing the game database. I have the option set to show "all games you have and all downloadable games"

Can I take it from this that is will only show games that are downloadable? why is there not an option to show simply "All Games from OAGD" that would make sense as you would not have to go and find cover art etc for games that do not show in FS-UAE, Lemmings for example does now display.

You must use advanced option:

Code:

database_show_games = 0

Then it will show all games, even if you do not have it and it is not downloadable. And yes, it must be 0 for all games to be shown.

Except, it still won't show adult games, which can be shown with

Code:

database_show_adult = 1

I have been trying for months to try to figure out how to show all games, your solution worked a treat. Not sure why I have not been able to find this anywhere else, it is not through lack of trying I can assure you.

Can I please make a sugestion that this option be added to the Game Database Settings? It would make life easier for numptys like me

I got these tips from Frode, we had discussion in one thread sometime ago...

And btw if you do not want to show all games by default, but just sometimes, you may use search term "have:false" which shows all games you do not have.

Hi all, IDK if it s normal or not, but lot of games are on the online database but not on the launcher (even with the option to display games not having).

Hmm, I think if you have option database_show_games=0, you have logged on from inside the FS-Uae launcher, and then Refreshed game database, you really should see all games from the database.

What you see if you search with term "have:false"?

I think a lot of people get caught out with this to be honest for ages I honestly thought it must be a bug. It is a very odd decision not to have a visible option to show all games from the database.

Yes now It's working, with the advanced option.

Another question but not about Fs-uae, there is a way to submit others files for a game if we haven't the permission on oagd ? I have good Whdload files, they are working but not reconised by FS-UAE.

Most likely those are just older pre-installs. Grab the recent ones from the file server or WHDownload.com

Yep, but for exemple, I have some game on WHDLoad format and on the database there is only adf format and I can't add new variant.
And the database/WHDownload.com are out of date, take a look for Ballistix, it s the 1.1b version and you can find the 1.2.
