WTD: Bootdisk for amiga lan card
I used to have a pcmcia network running on an a1200 with an 030 card etc, im looking for a single floppy bootdisk solution to getting it linked to a network again. My original a1200 is almost bare... no ram expansion and just one hard drive so all I want is a basic setup so I can scoot files accross

I've done this before using an A600 with 2MB of RAM.
To do it with a boot disk you need to use Termite TCP. Programs you need are: CNET or 3COM drivers. Termite TCP Amiga Explorer To get the files onto a floppy disk you will have to use 720kbyte floppy disks and CROSS DOS which is built into workbench 3.0. You probably need LHA too. Cool
Disks arent a problem as I have a catweasel mk4. My son wants the a1200 linked to his pc so it will make life a bit easier moving adf's around the home network |
