Post GIT client for Amiga (sgit - simplegit)

I'm trying to set up GIT to push my OctaMED ARexx scripts to a git repo for everybody to use. I'd like to do it straight from the Amiga so I need a git client.

So I stumbled upon SimpleGIT: https://github.com/sba1/simplegit
Quote:
simple git client based on libgit2 with AmigaOS being the major target operating system
Has anyone compiled and used it? This page claims to host the binaries https://sonumina.de/jenkins/job/sgit.amiga/344/ but I downloaded and they don't start on my Amiga with Vampire2 and ks 3.1 (not executable).

Any help? Thanks

The included binary is for PowerPC:

sgit: ELF 32-bit MSB executable, PowerPC or cisco 4500, version 1 (SYSV), statically linked, not stripped

I didn't read through the code, but theres only build support for OS4 in it. Getting this to work on OS3 might be non-trivial.

Go ahead and try?

You might be better off telnetting into a Linux box. You would need a shared network drive. e.g. Samba or NFS.

Might be possible with the Windows 10 Bash too.

I would also like some GIT for all my precious code I'm going to write. Maybe scp to one of the Linux servers would be the best solution then.
