Defender of the Crown is one of my all time favourite Amiga games; along with It Came From the Desert, Rocket Ranger, Wings

Took a lot of will power not to purchase this, though given what I've seen in this thread thus far, thank god I didn't give in...

So sorry for all that seem to (so far) wasted their hard earned money

Dont panic. It is a database relocation. Look on a1k.org. The Problem will be solved and the Shop open again at Wednesday or Thursday! :-)

I don't know if cd are pressed recorded or not, I think they aren't.
They are stored in cardboard sleeves.

This weekend I'll post some pics

If they are pressed they will be just like the ones you buy in shops, shiny silver and pad printed artwork, not green/gold/blue on the recorded side with a paper label stuck on!

So if you're not getting all CD's pressed and in Jewel Cases then that's not what my mate has paid for and will be seeking a refund as none of the emails has mentioned this!!

Also, the last email said all orders are now shipped and Europe will have theirs in 1-2 weeks, that was on 16th September, it's now nearly 2 months later and nothing has arrived, so what's going on?

I had the same issue because Sven from Cinemaware wrote a wrong address and the parcel came back to him.
After that he sent it again to me using the right address.

Tell your friend to write to Sven in order to have the tracking number of his copy and try to understand where it is

You guys realize you can get all these titles on gog.com? I'm not affiliated with GOG, but I bought all these games for around $20 for the lot. No boxes, no cd's of course but plenty of manuals and images.

The remastered editions are awesome BTW!!

They run on PC's but you can open the directories and extract the ADF's from the executables and run them on emulators if you want as well.

I'd be really interested in all of these if they are enhanced versions that can be played on the Amiga

...so, people who have purchase this (and it's actually arrived), if my question above is true can you please post some screenshots of the games running so we can see the differences?

Defender of the Crown Extended Colletor's Edition is not the Enhanced version.

Wings will be the Enhanced version for AmigaNG, and thanks to Daniel it should be better than pc version

I made a short video and took some snapshots. I'm not sure if they are legal to link here though

Anyone have an idea if it is or is not ok to link game content? Just short snippets of games and video.

I don't see why not Saghalie. If anything it's good promotional material for anyone thinking of purchasing

Ok then here you go. These are just Wings Remastered. I didn't do anything with Classic Wings (I figured that there are enough pics and stuff out there already).

My mate has still not got his DotC ECE! He emailed Cinemaware Retro two weeks ago asking for the tracking number but has had no reply so far, so what's going on?
