Subway USB with D-box USB 4pin cables

Is that possible does somebody tried that before?
Dbox usb cables are 4pin and subway got 5pin ports.
The 5th pin on subway is shielding. So I think it would be possible to do that without the shielding pin connected, but I'm not sure so better asking here first.
I need to take use of the Dbox usb ports don't have free place for additional usb bracket.

The fifth pin is not connected anyway, it's only used for shielding. You only need red = +5V, white = data-, green = data+ and black = ground.
