New 3.9 install
Hi Everyone.
I hope this is the right place for this... I've just managed to set up Amiga OS3.9 in WinUAE and am now looking to give it some bling...... It currently looks like this (See attached screenshot) What should I install to really make it POP Thanks Richard |

I would start with a wallpaper (wbpattern). Any jpeg image should do.

A very old install of 3.9 onto free Amikit. The recent versions are much more refined but not free anymore. And check FS-UAE.

It really depends on what you want to do with it. Just for esthetic reasons, just a nice wallpaper, some pattern for the folders, maybe fonts as well. Collect some useful programs and expand your dock using them. Install whdload if you want to play and you are done. Now if you want more then tell us what system you have and what else you want to do. If you want internet, emails, browser, some music mods or wav format then you need at least a 030 processor.

With OS3.9 successfully installed, you could optionally try ClassicWB 3.9 and see if you like it. Your original OS3.9 install won't be touched at all so you're safe to give it a shot.

Magic Menu, a background image, MultiCX, and WarpDTs..even if you don't have a PPC they are faster than all the others. PowerSnap is also a fantastic helpful program.
