xbox 360 can't connect to xbox live
xbox 360 can't connect to xbox live:
Tried via cable to Router Says I need an update,then fails  I would not bother but apparently I need an update to run original x-box games ? |

Tried again:
First Hard Drive appeared to have taken an update, but on reset = no change (old style interface). Second Drive (Metro interface ?) came back with a GOLD logo and a Bing Browser to the Left. I could see my PC and show pics and some (very few) videos. But I could not open the xbox from the pc. Tried to make an account but it seemed to want a Micro$oft email ? Outloot/Hotmail/Live etc... So no Original X-box emulator was available. |

You are better off doing a jail-break (with RHG3 it's easier than ever) and install the unofficial Xbox emulation package, which also removes the check for supported games and will simply run whatever you throw at it.

If you have a still-working Xenon, you are very lucky.
 These had a failure rate of 80% or so...

Very Noisy !
Drive Band Replaced But otherwise OK I said "Xenon/Zephyr" based on the PSU (203 W) and that one is dated 2005 the other 2008 (ReCased ?) But neither has HDMI --- So both are Xenon's. Last edited by Nobby_UK; 20 November 2023 at 20:51. |
