Is it okay to use both the RGB and composite ports simultaneously?
Just a quick question, and I do apologize if it has been asked in the past. I would like to use the same monitor for my Amiga, which I connect through on my GBS8200 via the RGB, then to my monitor via VGA. I also would like to connect via the composite, for screen modes that the 8200 does not support, such as for playing some games.
My question is, do you know if doing so would damage my Amiga 1200? I seem to recall reading a few years ago that it would, but I haven't been able to find that particular thread. I would be switching between the two using the monitor's input button, while having both the RGB and composite connected at the same time. Thanks. |
