Yep! You have just declared and officially named it as the 'EAB Boing Ball'
Now what else can I do. Hmmm. Aminet, not sure whether to make that extremely small and insignificant can I use the Aminet logo or will I have to create my own? |

Not sure about the Aminet logo, but I guess you can use it as an 'inspiration'

Here the DVD cover, sort of. It's not finished but as it's the bigger of the two I've done this one first as it's easier to resize smaller than to a larger size
Comments please. Simplicity can look just as good Edit: I'm doing a white background 'cause it saves on the ink Not everybody will appreciate this but some will + I think on the right paper it will look awesome, believe you me, I did this for my sister in-laws Wedding DVD and she and her new hubby, says it looks fantastic. It's strange but, I've never had one of my balls viewed and commented on so much since I joined EAB
@djp Nice idea, but there are limits to what Photoshop *can* do my friend, and yes I did say Photoshop |

Why thank you djp What you actually see is just the spine and front page, the back page has not yet been done, but usually I use this for the contents, credits and copyright notices etc The full resolution of this babe is 3189 x 2185 pixels, so it's huge but it will give a very nice print on the right paper
I really hope it looks good enough for it's purpose |

Just a slight niggle here. The EAB Logo and Boing ball is © 2001 - 2009 RCK. I'll need his permission to use any part of it on the Aminet CD/DVD covers. I don't think there'll be any problems, but we do need to ask him first.
I'll PM the man himself tomorrow morning/early afternoon. Then it's just a waiting game from then on |

Hi DH/TCD,
I have uploaded a full version of the Aminet CD 1 (Aminet_9306) contents to the Zone. This is obviously an overkill, and not really suitable for inclusion on a cover insert. As an alternative, I have attached a text file based on notes included on the actual Aminet CDROM cover insert for your consideration. Please let me know if I can be of any further help. BTW, latest artwork is ! prowler Last edited by prowler; 31 May 2009 at 22:43. Reason: Removed attachment |
