I think I've fallen ill, mentally, if you will.
My mind not entirely made up yet, it's stewing, see, I'm posting this now then leaving it here to foment, to see the kind of response received.
I'm looking to hand my retro collection to one actively contributing to the SPS project since I will knowingly never in good time contribute personally, not before the magnetic poles of this Earth flip, that or solar radiation rendering all magnetic media kaput. It's brewing as I type. Yes, quite mad, or quite sane? Ah-ha! Will not separate: AMIGA 100~ Original Boxed Games (Some more loose as well as coverdisks to be found) 1000~ 3.5" Floppy Disks (Would want to see TOSECed!) 8 x A500 (Stock/RAM Expansion/Other?) A1200 (Stock) (Superb cond.) A2000 (Dodgy FDD?) + Keyboard 8 x A520 Modulators COMMODORE 200~ Original Boxed & Cased Tapes (Few more loose) 11 x C64/128 (3 Incl. Box) + 1 x Plus/4 9 x Tape Drives 8 x External 5.25" FDDs Code:

Code:
HEDAKA HED-228 (RRP $149.00AU) S/N: ES218436 - MASTER-3A-1 (She's a beauty!) EXTERNAL 3.5 DISK DRIVE Serial NO. XN 0175053 Made in Japan Large box full of misc. documents. Will throw in dozen Joysticks, but as for the Star-Cursor Professional Computer Joystick System Model No. MCA 201, I'm keeping him. My shit is in varying condition from downright poor to fair working order to excellent state. Although probably wouldn't know to look at, half my wares were sourced from local op-shops where were more than likely turfed about a lot. The other half originate from better homes. This is no social engagement, one must drive here (being the northern suburbs of Perth, WA) with one objective, the goods! Load my shit in or on your four wheeled wagon the best way one can, then make like a tree and get the hell out, as in make haste, my shit now your shit, head home with a dirty big grin ["Sucker!"]. Really, I stress to a good home, not to be sold for personal profit at least until all is appropriately SPS saved. "Does this mean you make like a tree and leave?" It's the contrary, friend. This will bestow some peace of mind unto me knowing a good and fully capable citizen is dumping my shit. Free. No catch than that specified. "Oh, and there's one more thing. One day, a kid, or a crazy wild-eyed scientist who claims to be a scientist is gonna come around asking ..." Last edited by §ane; 10 March 2006 at 04:45. |

Well then, DrBong, enjoy the new midst your vast retro possessions and the little death uh I mean nostalgia that comes with.
Just to verify: - You're carting the entire lot back with you, let's hope in one trip if that's even possible. Misc. manuals, papers, etc. I'll understand if you don't want to lob those home. - You will see to it personally that all originals are SPS treated, this someday includes preserving the C64 Tapes, CopyProtection and all. - As for the 1000+ odd copies, compilations, what have yous, be such a crime not to ADF and have TOSECtorized. @DrBong: If you are willing to part with the busted 1010 external drive I would give it a good home next to my A1000. I have a 1010 that was painted black to match a CDTV (not by me) that could do with a new case.
If you are willing to send it to Melbourne maybe we could arrange a fair price + postage. Also if you don't want the Atari ST... let me know Manure... I hate manure... edit: Also although he doesn't post here at all these days I know |cy[ool is always on the look out for original c64 tapes, so if you don't want those maybe get in contact with him. if there are any Amiga magazines I'm more than happy to pay for postage to Melbourne! (assuming there's not like 3 tonnes of them ).
also, I don't suppose you've got a VGA adaptor for the Amiga please? |

@T_hairy_bootson: Do test the 1010 before rearranging its innards, I may have had two and binned the dud one.

@DrBong: 'fraid you're gonna need to pull a bloody good size trailer with cage up, one cannot haul this load else. I've been known to immensely underestimate. The disk boxes are stacked four high, the first level is obscured, and not everything is pictured, couple more large containers to enter yet! Edit: When it's all compacted it'll probably measure abouts 1.5m x 1m x 1.5m (H) or greater! Last edited by §ane; 11 March 2006 at 13:25. |

Memento Mori
Uncovered some stuff:
Amiga OS 3.5 (As new, recall violating the shrinkwrap) BattDisk - Battery Backed Static RAM Board - For the A2000 and A3000 (My kind of hardware, but the 2MB I think is missing) Mini Magic Card (Minus the Card, left with box and couple' chips) Shit is packed, ready to lug out the door. Shit is heavy, be wary of injury to oneself including but not limited to brick related mishaps. 'course what, if anything, is left here, in worst case scenario, may wind up on the tip, then you can be sure I've lost my sanity. |
