Mindshadow
I used to have the original disk of this game, but I no longer own it. Every version I download from the net has bad files all over the place. So does anybody have a working copy?
The (bad) net version has a checksum of a685b7c7 Any alternatives to this may be good versions. Thanks! |

You're absolutely right.
This game seems to be available on Dream Zone only, and on this disk, there ARE errors, from pics #46 (?) to #49 (?). I'm always that HAPPY if people like you report this stuff because I also haven't the time to copy each and every disk manually to HD. Needless to say, I've got the same (only) copy. If nobody has a 100% version, I'll at least try to fix the checksum errors. // Edit: IMPOSSIBLE! Some blocks are entirely destroyed because the block is filled with lots of DMS!1.52 crap. Hell knows what that should mean. A virus? Well it could also have something to do with the Disk Masher (DMS). @morph72: Mind Shadow isn't even in the database yet, is it? Ugh. I went to my new dat drive I bought on ebay that replaces my older model that died on me in California. OK, I said...I am finally gonna hook you up and start restoring some data. Then I realized that I need the damn external case which is with the dead drive in Cali. This is really bugging. Moving across country has been such a pain in the ass, I must say.
I must now either try to hunt down some kind of case for the bloody thing or try to convince my ex-roomie to rummage through storage and send me the one I already have (actually, I have two of them there!) That or when (if?) Cody ever returns, he may have a clean copy. |

Same with some guy whom I helped when he was stuck with a game. With the Amiga being in the one part of the country, and the PC being in the other, he was unable to transfer the game so that I could take a look at it
So it's wise to make sure that you ALWAYS have both your PC and Amiga at the same location, otherwise you could run into big trouble |

Well, I wonder if the game is unplayable. The one I have works..but does it get bad and crash later, guys? I got this one a while ago, so I am not sure if I got it from DZ.

It seems it was dumped from a disk with read/write errors, which means that some of the files on the adf are bad. You could try copying the files on the disk into ram. Andreas' message above lists the bogus files.
