Hmmm, the only other thing I can think of right now is that the .ADF files you downloaded became corrupt somehow. Try downloading them again

You shouldn't have needed to adjust this if you used the A500/A2000 Quickstart setting (it will be "68000" + "More compatible" ticked)... What did you change this too before? |

Ok, attached is pre-made configuration...
Just do the following: ... Save this file down to your WinUAE \Configurations directory. ... Start WinUAE, go to Settings --> Configurations. ... Click on Mega Lo Mania and click Load. ... Go to Settings --> Hardware --> ROM, click the ... button and point to your KS 1.3 ROM [wherever that is]. ... Go to Settings --> Hardware --> Floppy Drives, for each drive click the ... button and point to MEGALO-1.ADF (DF0) + MEGALO-2.ADF (DF1) [wherever they are]. ... Go back to Settings --> Configurations, and click Save then OK. |

And DamianD just forgot to tell you to press Start Emulator after all of that.
At least we are getting somewhere. |

megalomania sorted
if you download the HD install for megalomania from the aiab website and follow the instructions, it will work a treat. I've never got the ADFs to work on the emulator.
Good luck, I've just completed it again for the fist time in 14 or so years. |

WHDLoad made many games easier to play on real hardware and on emulation. (also some of old ones are JST)
Why you couldn't get floppy disk version to run? It should work as well. |
