Runtime data unpackers similar to PPDATA/RTDD?

Some people who did homemade disk packs probably used PowerPacker or Crunchmania to compress data files and then used a runtime decruncher so the data would load. I know of decrunchers like PPPatch, PPData and the sole RTDD decruncher, but were there anymore that did a similar job?

Also, what is the maximum capacity an Amiga disk can be formatted to and still be booted as AmigaDOS? I know FFS can format to 878K but needs kickstart 2.0+ so no use using that for a program that needs KS 1.2/1.3, so is the FFS capacity the only other option? Times many I've tried to make a 1 disk pack only find I'm just short of disk space, even when using FFS

Well there's XPK Patch which do the same job as PPatch but with PPdata, CRMdata and XPK packer (which are really efficiency).
There is also XFDMaster in the archive is include XFDPatch i'm not sure it handle to unpack data on the fly but that can be worth a try

you can only boot a floppy as AmigaDOS with a filesystem supported in ROM, which are only OFS and FFS.

@Frog: I most always use crmdata as it compresses better than PowerPacker, then bung rtdd in the startup-sequence (rtdd >nil: ), having said that I have found that some programs don't like having certain files compressed? XPKPatch is not really practical on a floppy as it needs xfdmaster.library and reqtools.library which take up around 118kb, not ideal when rtdd only takes up 2.5kb

@hooverphonique: Thought as much, would be nice to have a 1.3 kickstart with FFS and automount of HDD.

Just a quick question, is there a ProPack equivalent of RTDD?
