WinUAE & Mouse sensitivity in Ubuntu

Not sure where the problem lies here... I haven't got a good solution for running WinUAE on my 12.04 Ubuntu laptop. The mouse is wildly oversensitive and darts from one side of the emulation window to another; my standard desktop is 800 x 600 under picasso RTG though the problem is the same in native miggy resolutions. I've tried it under Wine & VirtualBox (XP installed) (with XP and winuae fullscreen at the same resolutions, the mouse is fine on the XP desktop and not useable in the emulation window). Fwiw, E-UAE suffers the same problem.

Is there a setting somewhere I've missed? I've tried the mouse speed setting, it does slow the mouse movement down but not in a way that makes it useable.

This problem usually happens in virtual machines or remote desktops with transparent mouse cursor support. Try ticking "Install virtual mouse driver" in Game Ports panel as a workaround (works only in WB and in system friendly games)

At least for VirtualBox, try disabling mouse integration by pressing right-Ctrl+I.
