Charlie Chimp - locating missing games in the series

Heya guys,

I'm looking to possibly add all "Charlie Chimp" games to my WinUAE collection:

HOL lists these:

... Charlie Chimp
... Charlie Chimp II: Monkey Mayhem
... Charlie Chimp: Special Edition '97
... Charlie The Xmas Chimp

Amiga Format - Coverdisk 87b contains "Charlie Chimp and the Treasure of Tutankhamun" which is not listed on HOL...

Plus, from booting / looking at the slide show there are also these shown:

Anyone know where to find these?

There is also "Charlie Chimp Remix".

This is apparently on Amiga Action - Issue 82 - May 1996 (Disk 1) but the disk is not available for download...

Anyone have this?

Ok, where's that prowler gotten too?

In this thread from back in 2009: Amiga Discs not in Tosec (I've highlighted the interesting part in blue):

Each is assigned a name based on the disk's volume name, with the exception of the STAG set, The Winning Post and the Digital Force Music Selector, which are non-DOS disks.

The Pinball Dreams - Unreleased Table disk was missing. The disks marked '*' have read errors and will require a bit more work to get valid disk images. However, 29 of the 32 disks have imaged successfully at the first attempt!

Hi Damien,

No worries, mate, I still have both the original disk and the image I recovered from it.

I shall be seeking out my old hard drive from 2009 in connection with another enquiry I have received by PM, so I should be able to upload that image for you soon with any luck.

*** Fixed your post above my friend as the quotes / double quotes didn't quite work ***

Heya prowler,

Oh, that is great news indeed!!! Knew I could count on you

...unfortunately you must have originally uploaded these slightly after I went AWOL for 6+ years so hence why I don't have them already

Ok, this is a friggin' knightmare...

Anyway, so far I have these disks (some I have renamed accordingly; hopefully correctly):
  • Charlie Chimp (1993)(Europress)[AMOS].adf
  • Charlie Chimp and the Great Escape (1997)(AMOS)[Amiga Format].adf
  • Charlie Chimp and the Treasure of Tutankhamun & SeeMore DooLittle's Toyland Caper's (1996)(AMOS)[Amiga Format #087].adf [couldn't modify the disk to boot straight into the game without loosing the title screen so left it original; damn it]
  • Charlie Chimp II - Monkey Mayhem (1994)(Europress)[AMOS].adf
  • Charlie Chimp II - Special Edition '96 (1996)(AMOS)[Amiga User International].adf
  • Charlie The Xmas Chimp (1993)(AMOS)[Amiga Action #52].adf [modified the disk to boot straight into the game so you cannot select "Campaign 2"]
In The Zone! for anyone that wants them

Charlie Chimp - games left to find:

1) Charlie Chimp and the Stolen Crown Jewels
2) Charlie Chimp and the City of Atlantis
3) Charlie Chimp - Special Edition '96
4) Charlie Chimp - Special Edition '97
5) Charlie Chimp Remix

I played a Charlie Chimp game not long ago, but can not find it now. It was like Dizzy and it is not Treasure of Tutankhamun or Great Escape. So must have been Stolen Crown Jewels or City of Atlantis. The only thing I remember was that I got stuck in a room with a dude in a big chair.

Will hopefully find it again someday...

Now added:

- Charlie Chimp and the Treasure of Tutankhamun
- Charlie Chimp and the Great Escape

Also added an 'Dizzy' quickmatch tag. Let me know if you know any more games that needs the tag

Great work, I like when good games are found and added to HOL.
