Thanks mr.vince - appreciate that!
If anyone else could link the "Scavenge Amiga" Facebook page I would be really grateful - the more people that see it the more chance I have of getting the game back - if you can link to a site please post here and let me know the details..... please also befriend "scavenge Amiga" to spread the word it is missing... @ mr.vince "Please let us know when you have it so it can be preserved..." Oh Yes - the game will be zoned here for everyone to share... Facebook page has now closed... Last edited by Peter; 17 November 2022 at 19:12. |

The legendary U4IA has joined Scavenge Amiga Facebook page as a friend - U4IA (F8 or Jim Young) formally of Cryptoburners wrote the music that was used in the opening titles in Scavenge.
Of course Jim doesn't recall any discussion with the author about the use of the music in the game but hey we are going back some years here! It was great to speak to Jim - I play his music a lot on my Amiga - if you haven't heard his work then you can check out his latest stuff on-line but search for his old Amiga work, it's great! Just been playing "Ready Rolled (The Drag Mix) http://www.reverbnation.com/#/u4ia - Excellent stuff! Facebook page has now closed... Last edited by Peter; 17 November 2022 at 19:12. |

Here's a great page for Jim Young's Amiga music - helps if you have decent PC Speakers and something like Deliplayer installed...
Click here... Just listened to a few tracks "101 Percent", "Freudian Dream", "U4IA Smoked a Joint" and "1992" - excellent stuff... IMO Last edited by Peter; 14 August 2010 at 01:41. |

Hi Peter! I was just wondering. Have you tried this site? http://www.amigazone.com/
I had visited that site a year ago. Found some great stuff there. You might want to ask Harv Laser on amigazone.com. He was very helpful to me. I wish you all the best with search and I hope you find it soon! Good Luck! |

BUMP...! I just know someone new on EAB is going to say, "I have this game!!"
I live in hope.... In the meantime my search continues.... had to close the facebook page as it was generating too many emails, crap etc... and nothing related to the game search. Last edited by Peter; 17 November 2022 at 19:13. |

Keep meaning to get in touch with retro gamer Don, yes, good idea - I will drop them a line... I have put the Scavenge Demo in the zone for you but it is disappointingly restricted in the Demo version unfortunately :-(
The game is two player only - two joysticks needed - you might need to boot workbench first and it hates extra fast ram! :-) |

@Peter
I'm sure you already tried it, but have you got in touch with what seems to be the girlfriend's coder at the time, going by the in-game credits? There's a Charlotte Milton who attended school in St. Albans, Hertforshide on linked.in: <Link to private details removed - prowler> Maybe she is THAT Charlotte Milton or maybe she happen to know James? Hey guys, funnily enough I have been in contact with Charlotte and it is her! She no longer has any direct contact with the author it seems but still has his details - I have asked her to contact him on my behalf - mind you this was a little while back and I've not heard anything since - at least I know the author is still around!
I will of course post here if I get any response. The trouble is, even if I do contact the author he will of most probably given up the Amiga years ago.... so it's still a hunt for anyone who has the registered game as well. Some progress made though! |

Wow. What a journey! Shame the ex-gf didn't produce a lead. Man, I hope you find it.
Can I ask: Why do you want it so badly? |
