Atari STfm and Wolfenstein 3D

I ques this has been discussed here? but it was surprise for me how well it performs.

Now when it is proofed that this should be possible with Amiga also, it is bit a sad that nobody didn't interested to port this.

Yeah, it's truly sad that developers are more interested in creating something new, rather than porting an almost 30 year old game to the platform.

Weird button configuration though

Looks like this was adopted from the Super Nintendo version of Wolf, it has the face graphics without blood.

Alright, so when are you going to start porting it?

If anyone else wonders about it, "toukokuuta" means "May" in Finnish, so the video title is "14 May 2020". It is not an ST version of idkfa or any other cheat code.

Great work, will it also run on 320x200 NTSC for those extra 1 or 2 fps?

Not at the moment, no. But I will fix it for NTSC when the game is in more finished state.

Hmm... I somehow missed that new CyberWolf video.
So, CDTV... this is running on stock 7Mhz?

This is even much smoother then the version I've tried, some time a go.
Anywhere to download this?
I also like the fact that is not clone, but game on it's own.

Great job.

There's only one version released, so it's the same version you've tried

Errr... nope

There were some early version, where there were no enemies at all, and no doora... no shooting... you just walk ... I still have it somewhere.
That version I quickly tried in Winuae with A500 setup.

This last version I will try on my real A500 with Aca 500 plus, both on 14mhz (default), 7Mhz, and just for the fun, 42 Mhz

Those aren't releases of Cyberwolf though, only previews of the rendering/raycast-routine itself.

Well Ok... whatever
Why there is no CyberWolf thread on EAB, with attached link to demo?
For example, I was totally unaware of the demo release, until I've read this thread.
I know there's a thread "optimising wolf 3D... bla bla" for you coders, but for the rest of us, there should be a thread of this demo.
It's more then deserved.

Would you create one?
Or, with your approval, I could create one.
