Installing Firmware On Gotek
Hello everyone!
I am trying to install firmware on my gotek drive so I can use it with my A500. I am using an A to A usb cable but the device shows up as unidentified. I am following this video [ Show youtube player ] One note is that my gotek has an extra jumper hole on the bottom row. So it has four holes on the bottom instead of three like in the video. Also, I am a mac user and have no experience with drivers on windows. Does anyone know how to fix this??? Thanks! |

The process for installing hte driver is around the 1:50 mark
It's easier to go to Device Manager, right click the 'unknown Device' in the list and select update driver. Do you have a picture of these extra holes? |

Ok I got the firmware installed.
Do I remove the jumpers afterwards? |
