Hmm? What kind of project? Web page, file collection? Because there's already Amiga Demoscene Archive (ADA) site by z5, which is famous and the name collides badly with that

For jPV

It's a file collection, nothing related to the site ADA

At the moment it contains 5.000 files

You can download it (if you want) from my upload folder on the ftp

Ok, the name is just confusing, because everyone thinks it's related to the site... some other name would have been better.

I knew of the site ADA, but i don't care if the name is the same

At the moment i'm focused on the content, in the future if the name will be a problem .... i will change it

But thanks for pointing this out

Anyway, out of curiosity, are you the jPV behind the Jpvs demoscene releases ?

I got a message from a friend who was finally able to get the components together to assemble his 060 turbo card and in the process of verifying a few things for him ended up getting back into my Amigas again after having got fed up with it all last year.

Then I discovered the BenQ BL702A which transformed the picture on my GB-A1000 I had built and turned it from something that I was still hacked off with because after all the money and effort that I ploughed into it the picture was crap, into something with an amazing picture and something I am really proud of and love to use!!

Amazing what a difference a decent video output can make.

I think my biggest moments were seeing the new Arcade ports by mcgeezer taking shape, getting my first new physically released Amiga game in years (it was 2017's Reshoot. I also ordered Powerglove so it's a good year ) and progressing my own knowledge of the Amiga hardware so that I got to make my sprite layer.

The last point has finally convinced me I might be able to actually create something other than a tech demo and got me all pumped about Amiga coding.

Cowcat's Smokin Guns (via his Quake3 work) was the most memorable thing for me.
Finally being able to play Xmen vs Capcom and SegaCD games on my A4000 was pretty exciting.

I have really enjoyed reading everyones moments. So many have contributed to the scene, thank you. And its great seeing people rediscover the Amiga or build up there collection or fix something to keep it alive. So many different moments but all have a common ending, enjoying Amiga.

Predseda, I am sorry to hear about your friend, just shows how life can be. But I'm glad he got joy out of his hobby and his legacy will go on.

Each time i rip some modules which is not present on modland or AMP

It's incredible how many bits of music in demos or games are still to be discovered

Recording those is something special, because i get really exclusive music

Hi

Not Amiga every day but very frequent. My photographic retro journal of each day of the year. December has been pretty frantic I have to say. Just click the tabs for each month of this year and previous years.

http://www.scuzzscink.com/amiga/scuzzblog.htm

Tomorrows page shows an Amiga 1200 boxed that I had forgotten and an Archos Overdrive. Every day is a new day and always something fun to do.

Some of the highlights:

New games: Road Avenger, Bomb Jack Beer Edition, Alco-Copter, Powerglove Reloaded, Trap Runner, Golden Wings (and lots more I can't remember).

New Amiga CD32 Scene magazine from Amigajay.

Found some fun new blogs, youtube channels, streamers: Amiga Bill, Amigos Retro, MsMadLemon, Tods Nerd Cave, AmigaGuru's Gameblog, It's a Pixel Thing,

And finally we were totally surprised by the unexpected reaction to Worthy, but this little gem was my # moment:

Plus many improvements for Africa, BB3&4, Koules, Report+, Saga, Tunnels & Trolls, Worm Wars, etc.

They are all at http://amigan.1emu.net/releases/

Thanks to everyone who helped with translations, ports, suggestions, bug reports, etc.

Acquired my first(so far!) Amiga ... a model 600

I've been using WinUAE for years & have MorphOS on an old Mac Mini (somewhat Amiga-like), have dabbled a bit in the Amiga world, but finally decided to try my hand with a real Amiga ... loving it

Got my A4000D 040 completely recapped
Updated the 4000 with a CF reader, WB 3.1, a Gotek, and maxed the on-board memory to 16 MB fast / 2 MB chip
Picked up a bunch of additional Amiga hardware
Got a hold of DamienD's totally awesome WinUAE Collection w/updates
Got a hold of ransom's totally awesome Ultimate Amiga for Raspberry Pi collection w/updates
Only wish I had the time and space to do more!
