Well, since you can't get Moonsweeper for a C64, congrats. The price seems to be pretty reasonable for a C64 cart. |

I should be picking up my first Sinclair machines today.
Found a craigslist posting for a ZX81 and a TS1000 (Double the RAM!!! ). I've been meaning to add one or the other to my collection. I never owned either back in the day, but the kit ZX81 was the first computer I wanted and tried to get my parents to help me buy. They said no. (Probably the kit thing, as I did not at that time own (or had ever used) a soldering iron. Probably a good call on their parts..) I eventually ended up with a Vic20 as my first computer, but my first computer "want" was the ZX81. |

The ultra rare Bone Cruncher for Amiga for 200 EUR.. JK .. I wish though... I'd love to get a pristine original of this classic game...
Instead I've spent a fortune on (hard needed) clothes... Not as exciting though.. Still concidering to get an XBOX One X for Red Dead Redemption 2..... Choices, choices, should I or shouldn't I. I bought a Switch and Breath of the Wild a couple of years ago, it's been collecting dust ever since I finished Zelda.. (superb game though). Not sure one game justifies the purchase of (yet another) a console..... |

Awesome, I got an ACE HD too a few weeks ago. Gave up getting it to work with my BenQ monitor though and bought myself an OSSC, which after a very short initial test seems to work great, but requires some tweaking still!

I just got ACA1221ec and Indivision AGA MK2cr. Makes quite a difference, and looks really good on my Dell 2001FP.

Today I am picking up a RetroTINK 2x to complement the OSSC which basically expands it with composite and s-video support so now I no longer need to rely on my Dell 2001FP monitor any longer and can have close to perfect picture quality on all modern screens with any of my retro computers. :-) |

Got em last night!
1 ZX81, 1 TS1000, 1 Sinclair 16k RAM Pack, 2 printers (1 Sinclair and 1 Timex Sinclair), 1 original power supply, and several rolls of paper. I checked the power supply and then hooked them up. Both power up and have a display on my TV (color CRT) downstairs. The TS1000 has a pretty good display, but numbers 1-5 on the keyboard don't work. (I expected keyboard issues, so not too worried.) The ZX81, the power connection is really bad. That power jack needs to be tightened or replaced. When I got it to make enough contact, I did see a picture and could tell it was working, but it wasn't a great picture. I am guessing it is just the earlier ULA that doesn't work as well with more modern TVs. As I plan on composite modding them, I am not too worried about that. I did test the keyboard, and at least the keys I tried worked, but it was a pretty bad image so I didn't test all the keys. All in all, I am really happy as they are in great looking shape. I'll see if I can repair the keyboard (cutting the ribbon down a bit). I think I'll also buy a new keyboard (or 2?) as the new ones are pretty cheap. Can't wait to get into them some more, but I have to wait a bit, as my next project is to try to fix the audio on my Amiga 1000. Darn too many projects!! ;-) |

Just received a Micromys V4. Excellent little bit of kit that I've used to replace my old Cocolino. The Cocolino had died after many years of constant use, but was a little flaky when it came to use with my KVM, requiring a particular startup order and being a complete pain if it didn't start up properly. The Micromys just works, no issues with the KVM, and also supports the mouse wheel, which I had really been missing!
