Directory Opus Magellan II FREE

It seems the bounty to get the source code for Magellan 5.82 has got the result and they are giving the source files...

Huh, I have both and it's just the opposite. OS3.5 and 3.9 were very disappointing when you already were using Magellan2 as replacement. Nowadays when I install new systems I go with 3.1 and Magellan2 and skip 3.9 completely, it's just useless resource hog stuff with no real improvements.

Great that we got Magellan2 sources and probably get some fixes done \o/

Yes, Magellan is better than Workbench in many things (for me). You unpack a compressed file just clicking on it (you see it uncompressed), it opens faster a drawer of files than WB, you can copy and paste, delete several files in a click, select another program to open a file, listen a sound with an action... and it has a lot of options more wherever (screen, drawers).

Indeed. Nice to see DOpus Magellan open source. Of course it is very powerful but when you use/like it and you are very deep into it is very hard to live without. Thats a problem.
