AmigaKit's New Battery Hacks
I was hoping FOL or AmigaKit would have posted this, but here is a picture of the new Battery Kits I got last night from Chris. These look great!

One the legs are longer the the motherboard, so once inserted, Just bent the legs a bit outward on the bottom to avoid it sliding or if the legs are not long enough to bend, just use electrical tape temporarily to hold it it in place. On my facebook page, I have a photo album where on Saturday, I replaced the battery in a Blizzard PPC card and the legs of the holder where just barely longer than the with of the board. You can see I used electrical tape and just removed it after solder. |
