A1200 Desktop IDE options from Amiga Suppliers

Is there actually anything in stock anywhere that can be purchased to improve the speed of the Desktop A1200 IDE...?

The Elbox Fast ATA MKIII is out of stock... the IDE-Express from Individual is out of stock... what else is there?

You could use the Blizzard SCSI kit or is this a different machine?

I'm sure if you post a wanted ad on Amibay someone will sell you a FastATA though

Steve.

I think I might just do that Steve but I cant believe that these items are out of stock with no expected dates - I was looking to improve the IDE speeds on both my A1200's so I could look at SCSI options for the A1200 that has the Blizzard SCSI- but I think with all the adaptors and cables it may just be too busy and bulky for the desktop case...?

Yeah its not going to be pretty in there by the time you've got a SCSI-IDE-CF all in there and the power cables if needed. Maybe they'll all add up to the same price as a used FastATA!

I suppose it could be done but I already have a Subway and an Indivision in the Blizzard A1200 - I would have to look at removing bits not used - RF unit? - to make more space... going to be very tight...
