Congrats with the new baby! I understand with little gremlins running around.
Looking forward to your project. Personally, I would ask for the cpu + fastram, to be on a daughter card for easier upgrades and to make it mini ITX format with only USB, HDMI, DisplayPorts and modern IO. Everything else can be plugged in with adapters while keeping the AGA + chipmem chips on board for compatibility. A Mini Amiga with real HW like the AmiITX would be awesome due to space and "relative" affordability. If you need someone to help fab the boards or any custom ASICs, let me know. I have a guy who helps me IC / ASIC development / production in China but MOQs are mainly the limiting factors. |

Thx and nope, there will be an eATX Version first. The Zorro slots need a lot of length.

Hmm, had to repair my motorcycles first, because they had to leave the yard....well, now i won't get killed by my landlord.
So, down to business. Another schematic page finished. Will still take a while for the rest though. I hope you all had a more stress free time than I did |

Would it help you if I convert my A4000+ project to KiCad so you can get the schematics from it (as template) and you could start working on the actual board quicker?

Most of the bigger components are placed. Places are not fixed yet, but I think most of them will stay where they are. I hope this will go well. I'm kind of nervous that it'll not work in the end

since Prometheus documentation is available is it technically possible to replace the ISA Slots with PCI Slots, if not now maybe in a later revision. Although I will still buy the board in it MATX state.

It's at least planned to implement PCI in future releases. But that'll have to wait for now ;-)

Hey you all.....sry for the long waiting.....
It's definitely a number too big for me.... Does someone want to step in an take the reigns? Could be multiple persons.... If anyone would still be interested in anyways. |
