Well, judging from the results of the ram test I'd say it's not only a possibility, but a certainty. Although you may as well run the test again as slow ram, I won't be surprised if it fails in the same way. Although I'm not really a HW expert, maybe someone with a bit more experience can confirm otherwise.

DISASTER!!!
I did the test on my expansion only... countless errors not only on 'float' but on 'dtadd' i think. This one seemed ok when i tested it with my expansion as chip ram..
The hobbit knows too much!!
I ordered a brand new mem expansion! If everything is ok i'll call you for a friendly match!!! LOL
