I see your point. Always better to have IPF support on your floppy emulator than no IPF support.

So my Gotek flashkit arrived today. Have soldered pins onto one of my Goteks and also sent a mail to Jeff. I used this email: <e-mail address removed>
I hope it's the correct address to use. btw, haven't seen him in the forums in quite a while so hope he is doing well and that I can buy HXC firmware from him. Edit: Jeff's last activity in this forum was 11th of july this year. I really hope I can buy the firmware from him still. Last edited by DamienD; 03 November 2016 at 10:35. |

I got mine a could of weeks ago. No worries. I realized you really don't even have to email him separately. He's just going to reply telling you to send 10 Euro to his pay pal with the same email address. Technically you could just send him the money I guess. I don't know if he uses your email as a heads up to get things setup first. I doubt it because the email you send from might not be the same as your pay pal email.
Rambling now. Don't worry. Be happy. Unless he died since then. Hope not. But always a possibility. Oops, not same email. Maybe that's why. Just send 10 Euros per one device to <e-mail address removed>. (paypal) Last edited by DamienD; 03 November 2016 at 10:34. |

I know Jeff visits the forum quite regularly. Register there and leave a message in the Gotek thread.

Edit: Looks like he visited his own forum: Last visited: Wed Oct 26, 2016 10:10 pm This can get annoying if it takes days or weeks for him to answer because I have two Gotek PCBs out of their cases with pins soldered onto them and ready to go. These are just some pins I put on there for flashing which I will remove later. Last edited by turrican9; 01 November 2016 at 20:32. |

I guess he could have e-mailed them or pm'd them (not sure if you can pm people on that forum) after being made aware that they were still waiting.

I would then just add your post to the list of others and wait for a reply.

He's just a guy, not a robot and probably not sitting at his computer 24/7. Maybe he's away visiting family for a few days or busy with work like most other people. In any case, I'm sure he'll get back to you before long. |

If the mail exists and you transferred as gift, they are probably lost. But try to put a ticket with paypal.
