Possible internal wireless on the A1200??

Looking at this i had an idea that could possibly work and wondered if anybody else thinks it's possible.

If you bought one of the ide-compact flash adapters with the twin ports and added this to the 2nd port.....internal wireless for the 1200??

As far as i can gather it's the prism2 chipset...

Would be ideal in an A600, keeping the pcmcia slot free for sram expansion.

To my understanding, not a chance - the CF standard is pretty much the PC Card standard. All you're able to use on the A1200 internal connector is PC Card ATA mode.

You can't use any other type of card on an IDE interface.

I hit some A1200 specs this morning as I was curious to see if it was possible to have 2 PCMCIA ports.

alas If one did all you could use in the 8MB addressing area would be 2MB RAM without conflict, of course major hacking to the board and would likely make both ports unstable. still food for thought.... maybe when I have completed all my projects and are board enough
