CDROM drivers 3.1.4 native vs ASIM

Wanted to know people opinions on what is the best CDROM drivers for Amiga in 2020? 3.1.4 native CD0 file in the DEVS folder or the last released version of ASIM 3.10?
Also, what about burning software? Is that a completely separate software or is that integrated into ASIM?

AsimCDFS has some neat additional features like a CD player, on-the-fly switching between ISO9660/Joliet/RockRidge, the ability to present CDDA as audio files in multiple formats, the ability to present entire discs as RAW blocks, and CDTV/CD32 emulation. But all those things can be achieved with other utilities from Aminet as well. The 3.1.4 CDFS is more transparent in terms of usability and far more recent, which has some value. If you're running a 3.1.4 system, I'd go with its built-in CDFS.

You can try both at the same time if you want. Set up one as CD0 and the other as CD1. AsimCDFS has the caveat that it needs to be mounted from Storage/DOSDrivers instead of Devs/DOSDrivers (the installer sets this up automatically).

CD burning is a separate thing. Asimware's product MasterISO integrates well with AsimCDFS, but it lacks a lot of features compared to MakeCD, which is essentially the standard these days. FryingPan was looking like another good option for a while but it's largely disappeared now.
