Prince of Persia originated from the Mac I believe.
EDIT - Sorry I misread the original post, my mistake. Last edited by gurth; 18 January 2015 at 17:41. Reason: misread original post |

Alone In The Dark. I remember trying to run it with a MAC emulator, didn't have much luck or any idea how.
Edit: Oh, thought it was MAC only, MS-DOS first.. |

Only interested in 68000 based conversions, my experience of 6502 is nil.
so, alone in the dark sounds interesting, cant find a 68000 version of it so far. |

Settlers 2. Would be nice to be able to play this without having to setup mac emulation.

OT Mac src
What about this (completely unrelated) stuff?
http://www.computerhistory.org/atchm...w-source-code/ Sorry for OT. To save it: X-Wing? Never seen on Amiga. I also found a thread on Ars:http://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?t=1000714 mentioning Dark Castle, never heard of it, anyway. Last edited by Cylon; 18 January 2015 at 21:59. Reason: Adds |

The only problem with most Mac games is that you'd need an Amiga with a proper high-resolution display to run them, or at least an OCS Amiga in interlaced mode - there never was a Mac with a display smaller than 512x342, and color games were almost all 640x480. That said, a couple that I remember from my childhood are The Oregon Trail and Spin Doctor.

Pathways into Darkness by Bungie. It's a very atmospheric raycaster requiring player engagement. Minotaur is an earlier game of theirs, simple tile based fantasy stuff. They also did a topdown tank game early on.
