KillerGorilla's whdload installs
I've downloaded a couple of killergorilla's (thanks kg ) whdload installs, but some of the files appear to be corrupt. Try K for instance.
... Or is it just my connection/ISP? I've tried 2 different PCs. |

I recently downloaded the lot and they all worked fine for me. Although a couple timed-out and I had to grab them again.
Check the filesizes: for example K should be 88850931 bytes |

Grab a file that doesn't work from http://www.whdownload.com/ and check if the file size is the same (and if it works) slk486.

I've got 88.597.465 bytes, so I guess it's something on my end. Didn't get any timeouts though, and tried several times. I'll try again.
Thanks Edit: Didn't see your post there, TCD. I don't see the packs at the link you provided, only the single installs, but they download fine. Last edited by slk486; 09 May 2010 at 10:54. |

There are no packs, just to confirm that the games works (they are taken from KG's packs). 'WHDLoad Games Pack K - 2009-05-28.zip' is 88,859,609 bytes here btw.

It looks like it's a Firefox issue. Just tried downloading the troublesome packs with IE, and they all download completely in the first try.
I've also got 88,859,609 for K now. Thanks for helping me troubleshoot |

Ok, then, it's an issue that only exists with Firefox, for me Might be the way it downloads to the final destination and renames the part file, compined with antivirus, network, whatnot, whereas IE copies the file after download.
Weird. I'll troubleshoot more later. Right now it works, and I can move on |
