Thanks!

Yes, I'm very pleased to have played through so many games Even if the majority of all my videos have been created using savestates. I guess i have finished about 100 games without them. But using savestates for creating longplays is a good thing. Since i don't think people like watching videos when you do die too much or doing mistakes.

Anyways, for Hugo...

I actually did not know there were more levels after you have completed the game once. I'm very interested to do a video showing all tracks. I wonder how many there can be? It will be both boring and watch a such video i guess. But would still be nice to have a longplay showing all of levels. I hope the game does not auto generating the levels. If so, there will be unlimited of levels.

Great job as always Hippoonios!
I'd love to watch a longplay of that manic game called Quicksilva some time!

@Hugo:

The tracks are different from level to level, but always the same when you start a new game, so it seems they are fixed, and not generated. I created some sort of map where I noted down when to go left or right in each track, so I never loose a life in these

I am also very interested to know how many levels there are ? I thought I would just play this to the end in a few attempts, after I finished the TV mode easily, but it turned out to be longer than I thought I think it was the second mountain level after the third railway track, where a hole is placed simply too close to the next one, so I cannot lang Hugo in between, and neither do both holes in one jump. I bet you will notice this once you get there.

Really looking forward to see a video of this game

I have now checked out Hugo. And you are right. The part with the two holes is very difficult. But not impossible! You can jump over them both in one jump. Or you can jump between them.

I managed to complete the game in Arcade mode.

Here is the video: [ Show youtube player ]

I wonder if it is the same with Hugo II (the one with the forest and plane level). More levels to play i mean.

@hipoonios

Hmmmm....yeah, it could be me, I'm not sure tbh. I'll check my youtube account, but it's likely! Also, how about mr Heli, unless I'm missing something there's no longplay of that one.

Two more games with (strangely) no longplays are Powerdrive and Rally Championships. Neither one's particularly great on the gameplay department (Powerdrive's not all that bad), but both have pretty good gfx.

Rally Championships had some input problems on A500, you can read more on EAB.

Yes I know, I mean, does the AGA/CD32 version(s) have the same problem and can't be completed?

It may be crack fault as I had working version on my Amiga 500 long ago. I think to solve problem you need to connect joystick to port 1 instead of 2.

Notice About Rally Championship that two very different versions exist it. One for A500 (the crappy one) and one for CD32, which at least on CD32 gamers demoversion was so great i have been wanting to buy it one day.

Ah, the crappy 16bit version of Mr. Heli. Even the shortened C64 version is far better. Only the brilliant PC-Engine port is really worth to be played.

Send a message via MSN to dlfrsilver
The Amstrad CPC version is the best one for this game, as usual with Probe Software
