That converter you made is AMAZING!
Great job on the video too (maybe you could place some bg music... doom music.. Slayer... but make it very low volume).
You did the great editing, and speed up correct stuff.

You seem to understand and know very well a level design too, so I think you will create amazing campaign.
Give me that map, I wanna shoot the guy without armor. :P

Question:
Are we going to be able to change gun sprite? I wanna make some medieval stuff, for example, and would like player to hold an axe.

Haha. This is sick Never tought possible. The game looks real good. Would it be possible to use a hand more like in Doom?

My target is basically the most common, slightly expanded stock configuration. It's just enough to get things running, because of the map data, textures and sprites. The engine itself also uses quite a bit of memory, because every time I could trade some RAM usage for speed, I obviously did. I didn't throw out the system, though, so I may win some by custom bootloader, and I plan to dynamically load weapons from disk, but in practice I will find use for any amount of RAM I could get from 512+512 configuration.

Definitely nothing I couldn't clear rights for YouTube. So the safest choice for now was silence.

Weapon system is already 100% scripted. The problem is that the script compiler generates asm instead of binary, so this should be changed before scripting would be useable for general public. But that will be one of my goals.

And if you'd like to make medieval stuff - I'd love such version too. I'm a big fan of Heretic, possibly even bigger than Doom.

@KK/Altair I have 4 amigas in use in my chamber, two of them has a 68060 cpu.

Question is how configurable this is? Can I enable/disable floor and ceiling textures if I want to play it with more powerfull amiga?

Truly astounding... I'm amazed by this. I watched your video with such interest as you went through the level creation - even the converter is an amazing piece of work.

Then I was simply agog as you loaded up the game engine itself. Well done, sir.

I flicked through the video this morning but will watch it in detail later. Very impressive work. The speed at which the game runs is unbelievable. Subbed and looking forward to more content.

I've seen some great things, but this just leaves me on my ass (as we say in FR )... Wonderful KK/Altair !!!
