Both of these statements are incorrect. Hardcore was originally developed for the Amiga, they were about to release it when the publisher said Amiga platform isn't selling and decided not to publish it. The team then ported the game over to Megadrive. Then the same thing happened a year later, when the Megadrive publisher said that platform was dead.

Well saying something is incorrect and not backing with factual information it up isnt correcting it.

Plus we all know the Amiga version was far from complete they hadn't even updated the graphics to the new Megadrive ones they created as can be read in The One article.

The Lemon statement with Andreas Axelsson needs backing up from other members, even The One article doesn’t have him down as coding for the game, so as we all know memories blur through the years of what was done in what order, i just think we need more clarification from more members before anyone can claim what was first and how far it got.

I already mentioned that I have first hand contact with the artist. Whether you believe me or not is your prerogative.

Apologies i missed that post, plus it wasn't about believing anyone, there are plenty of people who just say stuff, but if you are in contact with a member that’s great, maybe Lemon could arrange a short interview to clarify things with The One article?

Well, this really is an unexpected turn of events...
But considering Kalms is involved in the project, here's hoping he can apply some of his wizardry and eventually release an Amiga version as originally planned.

Unfortunately, we dont currently have anything useful for an Amiga version.
There is some code, but no data, so pretty useless.

This looks really, really nice.

Like others said it has a definite 'Turrican' feel to it. Am looking forward to the release.
One can dream it may come out on Amiga, but if not - well, I'll play a good 2D game like that regardless of platform

Unfortunately there arent any, only the ROM exists :<
Of course theoretically everything could be extracted from the ROM, but thats alot of work I guess.

Finally! Too bad I don't have PS4 but maybe in time will surface on other platforms. Judging from movies and screens this is really lost gem in amiga world.

The game now has a new name and a release date (well, sort of): Ultracore, coming sometime next quarter.

It seems that the game has been added to the Analogue Mega SG new console. Look at this review by Modern Vintage Gamer:

Search for time 4' 50"

[ Show youtube player ]

But I don't find where to get/buy the rom of the game
Any link, please?
