On Aminet there is only CrMv191t .

The CrunchMania library (V4.3x) and run-time data decruncher updates are on the EAB FTP server, but unfortunately there's nothing on there that advances the main exec from V1.91t. It will be interesting to have a look at CrunchMania V1.95 that AmigaSystem has, if just to see if it's anything more than a bugfix update (or a fake!).

As I have already said, this is a FAKE version which was spread on the boards back then. It's 1.91 with changed version/date strings.

Haha, didn't see your post on the previous page! Check my last post again.....I know all too well about fakes released in the warez scene, particularly when it comes to crunchers/packers on the Amiga.

If you are talking about the crm.library 4.36 registered to Roland Körner, then this is a legit version of the CrM 1.91r package (if still unaltered).

Roland Körner decided to release this lib together with his PD Cheater Collection.
And u can use this lib for your own purposes of course ...

Yep.. i found a patch in a little app called SPIRIT .. had lots of different patches for different applications.. i still have the app but it needs mui to run i think..
I could upload the original 1.91t with patched crm.exe <as its the only file changed.. i also found the registered crm.library which is in now in my libs folder.. not roland

The main CRM says This is a hacked version.
The Crm.library is Andy Gibson version 4.30.. 8808 bytes

Yep, and I linked to it in post #43 above.......works nicely for me! It even says in the filename that it was patched for Barry!!!

crm.library 4.36 registrated at Roland Körner (now i remember, i downloaded it) is situated EAB file server HERE but not i think both registrated, if you try to compact multiple files goes out annoying request

This nag requester is a "feature" of CrM 1.91t (trial)!

So please use the patched version instead!

I think that, besides the nagscreen you´re limited to crunch a number of files and you cant decrunch exe files.

I´ve my own CrM 1.9t patched version without the nagscreen and not limited to crunch a number of exe files (5 ??? 10???) in the same session, but cant decrunch the CrM exe files.

And of course, i´m also looking for the CrM 1.91r version.

The hacked version on the EAB file server has no file limit.

But you can't decrunch even with the hacked test version since the necessary code is just missing.
There are other solutions for decrunching.

But it's very unlikely you will ever get a free CrM 1.91r since the registered versions are personalized.
So nobody would spread his own personalized version and there was never a cracked 1.91r circulating in the boards.
