Killer/CNCD and WinUAE

Has anyone here got CNCD's magnificent Killer working under WinUAE? I've tried to run it with various confs but each time I can only hear the music. Any config tips you have? Maybe a 68040 with some huge zorro3 memory? which resolution?

Hi,

If you happen to get it work please tell me too. I think that the main reason is that our demo used a lot of SMC and fpu commands in the prephase. (does a bit of precalc for sqrt in the 3D engine).

your's truly humanoid of embassy ...

@Humanoid : I hope that now you know how to run your 3D engine under WinUAE it could help you to finish your "upcoming" (?) demo

Quote:
From A.D.A : We haven't utilized most of our "3d engine's" features at all. There are about 4-6 parts that are already finalized and some parts that are halfway and it makes about 12 + variations to have a decent demo.

Did you start setpatch before? Demo needs it to detect AGA chipset.

it should run after setpatch as stingray points out and probly needs to be run from clean system (no startup....) for freeing up chippy. I don't seem to recall this one needs assigns and can't remember the fast ram requirements either, but i doubt it needs 32mb.
hmm, the .exe script should take care of both assign and setpatch, from what i can see, yea does assign lol.
