How to play non ADF LHA files

Hi, hoping somebody can point me in the right direction how to pla games that come as an nfo file/non ADF/LHA files?

For example I'd like to play tiny galaga but the download contains only the files below, one of which doesn't even have a file extension:

aYS_Tiny_Galaga
aYS_Tiny_Galaga.nfo

Also the game Jump. This time it's an info file then a bunch of files, how do I install/play this format?

Thanks..

The file without an extension should be an Amiga executable. You should copy it to an Amiga HD and with the .info file you should see an icon when you view the file in Workbench.

If you have a gotek you could use ADF Workshop to put those files into an adf. As TCD said, the main file runs from the one with an .nfo extension on Workbench. The .nfo need to be renamed to .info to be an icon that works iirc.

Thanks for the help. I did try coping the files to a drawer but hadn't renamed the file, so maybe that's the issue.

No, the .nfo file is a readme.

Ah Ok. My mistake. He'd need to copy and rename an icon from elsewhere to run it from WB?

Once you have it in a drawer, hold down the right mouse button and select 'Window -> Show -> All Files' from the top menu. Double click on the file without the extension and hopefully it will start

I saw this thread, and I thought I would create you an ADF with the Tiny Games on it, I have uploaded it into the Zone for you

Tiny Abyss gave me permission to release their games a while back, and I still have a few of these to actually add to my Games Collection on the Blog heh
