Cody dude, I have a massive collection of Spectrum software and I noticed you want Spectrum games screenshots. Have I misunderstood you or do you REALLY want screenshots/loading screens from Spectrum games?

Yes - it's for the Conversion section. Its purpose to show a comparison of the Amiga version with all the other conversions.

For a long time (since 2002) it mostly had coin-op screenshots in it but I've started to try to complete it for many entries e.g.

Lemmings - http://hol.abime.net/872/conversionshot
Thunder Blade - http://hol.abime.net/1387/conversionshot
Populous - http://hol.abime.net/1102/conversionshot
The First Samurai - http://hol.abime.net/563/conversionshot

Thanks!

You should find all you need over the HOL faq
http://hol.abime.net/faq.php?section=contributions

Feel free to ask more questions, so we could update our faq.

cool! i feel so newbie thanks

just a consideration: as the occasional player has more than the regular contributor the chance of get far in his fav game, and so to provide an unusual shot, i think it's best to either suggest an ad-hoc resolution for winuae and ask not to use filters/proportion correction.
and/or, if people don't use image retouch software, point to them one dude that will resize their bitmap 800*600 screenshots

also give a definitive indication on endgame screenshots.

if the matter was already flattened elsewhere i apologize, as i said i was prompted to ask as i've read different indication on the forums.

Most of these maps are fantastic. I love 'em.

I wouldn't mind seeing more of this. Here are some good candidates:
Rock 'n Roll, Rolling Ronny, Wolfchild, SOTB (beast), Gods, Alien Breed TA, Killing Game Show, Blues Bros, Disposable Hero, First Samurai, Syndicate, Rick Dangerous 1/2, Zany Golf, Soccer Kid, Leander, Titus the Fox, Silly Putty, Prince of Persia, Alien Breed 2, Flood, Risky Woods, Xenon 2, Treasure Island Dizzy, Ugh!, Exile Demo, Harlequin and last but not least the humongous SWIV (maybe level data can be scanned after each loading section?)

I'd really have to figure out how to work some of those mapper tools. Excellent stuff!

The old fashioned way - screenshots, still have to figure out the tool (I couldn't figure out track2file either). Btw, I love the superfrog maps but the thumbnail pics need fixing on HOL.

Ps. Check this thread for some cool C64 maps!

found:Fortress Underground

Uploaded scans of extremely rare Fortress Underground to FTP.

BTW:Is it of any use to upload ADFs(dump from original) of Pacboy and
Fortress Underground to the Zone?

dumps of the adfs would be great - especially pacboy, then we can make some more screenshots ...

PACBOY dump

Uploaded dumps(ADFs) from pacboy, space station, s.t.a.g and fortress underground to the zone! All from original and virusfree.

But i was not able to emulate fortress underground in WinUAE.
Perhaps you are.
