Super Transfert disk !!!

i have created a disk for A500+,600,1200 without Compact flash.

just need to have a parallel cable MALE to MALE connection,

and there you go ^^.

The only thing is that you need a PC runing Win95/98.

i'll post it in the zone for whoever want to try it ^^.

Could you explain a bit more? You use the PC as diskdrive, and transfer the files from PC to Amiga before using them...?

nope, it's a transfer disk from amiga to PC. on pc HDD, and on amiga HDD + disk.

PC2AM is really nice, it allow win95+ long filename and to access pc drives "a,c, even cd rom) pc is considered as slave

Yes, and i have some hints to give before.

This disk doesn't work on plain A500. This is due to KS 1.3.

it works on A500+, A600, A1200 and A4000 and REQUIRES a Parallel cable MALE to MALE

for transfering. Expect 20 minutes for transfering 2000 files.

I have transfered a hard drive for Thierry Levastre recently using this disk. Works like a charm ^^.

The main goal is Backuping on a Pc doted with Win95/98 to fully transfer
your old amiga hard drive contents to a folder you'll then be able to
use mounted in Winuae.

the second one is the ability to write directly ADFs from PC Hard drive straight
to the DF0: drive with the help of DISKWRITE.

Let me a moment tonight to push it in the zone ok ? ^^

btw it also allow you to do the opposite thing. Writing directly ADF disk from your df0: to your pc hard drive.

it would be nice if PC2AM also work on 1.3...

yes but PC2am is not KS1.3 compatible.

Ok, I'll give it a try anyway :-)

I wonder if it would be possible to use PC2Am (which requires KS 2.x) with a good old A500 (KS 1.2). My A500 has a 2MB RAM expansion board. If I use a software like ReloKick, loading KS 2.x or 3.x, will I be able to use PC2Am?

P.S. I'm asking this because I would like to extablish a parallel connection (via LapLink cable, which I have) between A500 and my PC. I don't want to buy/make a "slow" null-modem serial cable...
