There is a program to trick OS to thinking the system has some Fast RAM,
but that doesn’t seem to help or hinder the game working on emulation or real hw.
Wierd, I get same issue you get on real machine.

Yeah it never has worked when booted from floppy with SX-1.
It’s a shame, I’d generally prefer things working from CD than use floppies.

Which WinUAE version are you running, xArtx? I also get corruption:

Funny thing though: if i turn on Cycle Exact, the game just locks up like this:

Another thing to do is when you are at the start screen, turn on Cycle Exact and the game goes mental.

I realize you are using a different version than that which came in The One on 94. How is it different besides that it doens't run on CD32? The AGA version found on this coverdisk should run:

So yeah, I tested the 1200 version found on that coverdisk and it works just great on the CD32.
Again, what is the difference on this "Remix 95" version? Besides it not saying anything about The One?

Find attached here the version that works.

Yes, in the meantime "galling.iso.zip" is not a ISO native CD32 but CDTV, in any case the problem you exposed you get with most versions of WinUAE also very old, the game always stops Star Field.
I managed to find a version of WinUAE (2.5.1) which allows to overcome the star field and start the game, but it has corruptions graphic

Gala1200 attachment from Akira It works well, created a new native CD32 ISO, and this starts perfectly without graphics issues even in recent versions of WinUAE; i attach little video exhaustive.

I’m on the latest WinUAE. Had to update it when I was formatting my CF cards with it.
I had no problem at all running the one I posted to the Zone with WinUAE default settings.
I can’t play the game though (no PC joystick), but watch the demo run, and the music plays.
Keen to try another one.

I can’t remember the difference between the demo disk version, whether it was deliberately limited in any way.

Ok, funny that, I wonder what the difference is? Will find out with play time maybe.
The first file I tried (Remix95) is considerably larger.

I’ve deleted the first image I uploaded to the Zone, and replaced with the next one Akira posted.
Thanks AMIGASYSTEM also, I’m happy to be able to play it.
It’s still a CDTV disk, I figure if a game is non-AGA it might as well be a CDTV disk.

The Galactic CD in the Zone has both binaries, but the version from The One magazine is the one that is loaded.

No is the opposite, Gala1200 it is bigger, see it small because it is compacted, (Remix95 380k, Gala1200 508k)

these ISO they do not have the Trademark CD32.TM and have Rock Ridge extension (see attached video above and Screenshot).

I think so, as soon as possible I try to start ISO da emulazione CDTV, when my CDTV emulator does not seem to start the ISO

Tested on CDTV-HD and both versions of the games are started without problems, Gala1200 it must be unpacked, otherwise the CDTV there make it to start "error free store"

Here I did not understand

What I mean is both files are on the CD, but startup-sequence will only load the
magazine cover disk version that works with CD32.

Ok, that’s probably a good thing.
I gave the game a bash today and made it to castle 5.
A couple of bonus levels in there too, so ti does look like a complete game.

Probably just needed a bit more polish on title screens & intro for commercial release.
