TinyLauncher - Is there really interest in newer versions?
Had a few e-mails with gibs the last days. He's still working on TinyLauncher on/off the last years. Could put something together with newer/better features like multi folder/different partitions scanning, screenshots+infos etc.
But he's also a bit sceptical if people still want to use it because there are other front-ends available. What do you think? Feel free to post your opinions. |

I would love a new version with multi-folder/different partitions scanning.
IMO the addition of that feature would make tiny launcher perfect! The navigation is so fast and easy, I love it. |

We're all searching for the perfect whdload launcher. If he could do it however long it takes it would be fantastic.

TinyLauncher fan here! I'd love a new version. I hope if it does expand to screenshots that there will be an option to turn that off. I like configurability :-)

I enjoy it much more than the other known alternative.
It has the potential to even become a workbench replacement for low end Amiga systems. I like that idea. It would be good to see the author here again. We all have our discrepancies and quarrels, but it is 2017, time to move on, and come back. |

As much as I applaud these launchers, they've always seemed limited in use or not appealing enough to see every time I power up the computer.
It would really beneficial in any of these programs would offer the users much more configurability in terms of what is shown, what actions are taken if a menu item xx is chosen and how the individual menus are formatted (title gfx, fonts styles and sizes, colors, rows etc) and let the community take it from there. |

i like tinylauncher best of all launchers out there...it's small, it's fast and looks and sounds nice. the amount of games that can be put in a database should be increased if possible. in the last beta tinylauncher crashed while scanning my folders because i went beyond some limit. already stated that on youtube.
if there is a new version, i'd love to use it!! |

I'm using TinyLauncher - it is small, fast, and works stable to me (contrary to XBench). Glad to see it is still developed

More launchers = more choice = more configurations = more system customization
all that = A VERY GOOD THING! |
