That is great, really must have been an exciting time to be involved in the Amiga at that time, I remember I was lucky enough to move to the States in 1987, we lived very near the Commodore headquarters in PA, and I remember the day that Commodore sent us the A500 along with Commodore monitor. Those were the best days of computing for me, and now I had to sell off my A1200 so even more sad ;( Would love to buy a copy of the poster you have. Would it be possible to do a reprint in the original size?

Whoops. I didn't notice there was one. I was 15 then and it wasn't me who registered as a developer or kicked up the cash (sorry, can't say much more than that without clearing it with someone). It was done to get an Amiga sooner rather than later as well as info about the system hardware and software and developer pricing on stuff like Lattice. The project for which the Amiga was intended end up being scrapped but I was hooked and stayed with the Amiga so I ended up with everything.
For those that have asked, no, I still haven't gotten around to getting everything scanned in. I will take care of it one of these days. I'm thinking the actual binder might be of interest to someone still involved with the A1000. Georg Braun came to mind but I haven't had any luck contacting him. If anyone can put him in touch with me I'd appreciate it. @ami_junkie I don't own the rights to the image (obviously) or know who does so I won't be selling copies. Giving out high-res scans so people can print their own seems harmless enough at this point though. Here's hoping that doesn't come back to bite me on the arse. |

If you wouldn`t mind doing a hi-res scan that would be great. There are too many Apple posters around and it would be great to have an Amiga poster to proudly display in the study.

Yes please to a hi-res scan. And yes, I would print it out and put it next to the 1000

Have you got a scanner big enough? What size is the poster?
