Super Mario Brothers Clone... With Women Characters...

I used to play this old game for the Amiga when I was a youngster that was, basically, EXACTLY like a Super Mario Brothers game or somethin'... Except you controlled women, and instead of mushrooms I think you collected rainbow out of blocks. Also... And this may just be an incredibly hazy memory and be way-off... but I THINK when you collected one of the aforementioned rainbows, your went all frizzy... Kind of like an afro hairstyle or something...
If people could help put a name to that game and tell me where I could download it I'd be very appreciative, thanks!

Hey, that's the C64 version, you will confuse the guy

It could be the (pseudo?) sequel to Giana, Hard n Heavy.

Hmmm....a huge difference between the character on the title screen and the one in the game.

The title screen lady looks better to me - spiky breasts beat spiky hair!

BTW Lev this game was banned for being a Mario clone!

Hmmm... you're right. I'm pretty sure I created a new screen some time ago, but I most have lost it. I'm on it.

I was just wondering how on Earth they could have ever got away with so blatantly ripping-off Super Mario Brothers. So that's my answer - They DIDN'T get away with it!

Also, how are you handling screenshots for games that use other resolutions than 320x256? That Giana Intro piccy is at 320x512, and it looks a bit strange in there.

Lev: I said it was the sequel. I think it was a proper sequel but Im not sure!

We don't accept games having a resolution different from 320 x 256. The games that don't change their minds can sod off!

Here's the cloudified Great Giana Sisters screens:

Thanks for introducing me to Hard n Heavy! It's a really cool game! In particular, I really like the in game tunes - they rock!
