Amiga power plugs

Anybody know a supplier of the 5 Pin Square DIN amiga Power Plug

not after a single rather 8-10 off.

Not going to say i'm 100% certain, but i sort of remember people getting told "it cant be bought, get one of a broken PSU"

As far as I can tell, it simply doesn't exist as a new item. It looks like this shape was never made for another computer or device. Never saw it anywhere else.

Does seem that way ....
the only picture I have found is that on Amigamaniac's page.

I actually did make one many years back, when cutting it off a PSU would have been a hanging offence ! .

I got a set of pins bent up a bit of tin put it all into a spare socket and poured in some epoxy .... might have to do it again :bummer!!

Amigamaniac was selling them at some stage, I believe he had them custom made as they were black. No longer in stock unfortunately but maybe a group buy could be organised for 100 of them or something.

I wouldn't chicken out on cutting up a burnt PSU for a connector. I might be to afraid to tell anyone i threw a burnt PSU out, but saving the connector is a (in my mind) good move that restores the balance in the force.

Quite agree on this
You can always make a decent PSU out of an ATX one, I guess in the end the hardest to find remains this square plug.

I think that it is the fastest way to solve the problem - make own plug.
