Bomb The Bass - Megablast (xenon II)
I've no idea if this would be any use to anyone here, but I've compiled all the original samples used in Megablast and uploaded them to Soundcloud, so if anyone fancies doing a remix.....

Nice work. Never realised how much of that song was just chained samples.

Most of the bitmap games (well the ones I bothered to have a look at) are just massive samples

Well this was the MOD version of a "real" song anyway, so this is understandable. These are the samples of the original song, not the Amiga version, jut in case it was not clear.
There's some awesome samples there! Thank you. |

If memory serves me right (and i could well be wrong) I dont think Xenon II was a mod either and used a different format who's name completely evades me at the moment.
Interesting mix of it here http://bitworld.bitfellas.org/demo.php?id=26829 |

Actually I think they are samples from the original songs that Bomb the Bass took them from. Not from the Bomb the Base Megablast track. Kinda cool. I'd like to know the names of the source tracks too, just for fun. Last edited by alexh; 03 August 2011 at 15:20. |

Thanks for this.
I have a request though. I noticed when you uploaded this you also had a sample pack of Groove is in the Heart by Deeelite but it is now deleted. Is there any chance you could upload it somewhere else? Thanks |

Nice work Ximer, you're other sample packs and acapella collections are also neat and interesting. I see you've also done Beat Dis and Doctorin The House, very cool. Heck most of the 1990s breakbeat tracks used similar beat loops, the Acen loop springs to mind

Thanks for the link on the amen break. I've Allways loved that sound and its crazy to think that a 6 second sample from the 60's influenced and really made hip hop, rave, breaks and d&B. You learn something everyday. |
