I can't find the ecs version of shaq fu but I've found and correctly installed the ecs version of rally champ. (if aga version is a shit try to think how is the ecs one)
Yes it's an argument that must be setting in the fifa's icon but I can't understand how set this parameter in the startup. The tools that I'm talking about are simply an expansion kit and a keyboard for my cd32 (it's my poor english, sorry) With last hd installers (all of them need 1mb or 2mb chip to work and no fast mem are required) swos (jst) crash in a blank screen and total football after the first screen (domark?!).Shit! |

Has anyone had any luck with Worms CD32? i've tried various versions but they all seem to cause a reboot after you start match.
Also i made myself a CD32 version of Worms Directors Cut but this also crashes when loading at the start. Upon checking the readme TEAM 17 said they would release a freely available patch for cd-rom but i haven't had any luck finding it on the net so i emailed them and i'm still awaiting a reply. But it is apparent Worms DC was supposed to have CD support as at the start you get asked to click the mouse or the blue button the blue button being from the cd32 pad. |

Rochabian that would be Worms CD32 not Worms Directors Cut. It is a strange thing but Worms CD32 says the directors cut at the top of the menu for reasons currently unknown.
http://hol.abime.net/1781 < That is Worms DC I've uploaded the CD32 version of Worms DC i made from the original floppy disks to the zone for anyone interested in trying it out. But like i said before it crashes when loading. Hopefully someone can fix this or find the directors cut cdrom patch, assuming it did get released like it said in the readme. Edit: The archive is extracted with 7zip and it contains the cd contents and a raw image of the contents, to burn it you just use the default nero image settings. The sad thing is the game has no protection and all the data files can be copied to a dir, but the only problem is it keeps looking at the floppy drive for the data. If that were overcome it would work fine on 2mb chip ram. |

I think that WormsDC crashes because the game needs more than 2Mb Chip
I 've tested it on CD32 with 4Mb and it runs fine!!!!!!! If a patch really exists wich reduce the amount of required memory to fit the CD32 2Mb, then we will be able to run this game on the CD32 otherwise i think there's no way EDIT:WhiteSnake is a god ;-) Last edited by Rochabian; 07 November 2005 at 19:55. |

Wormsdc requires surely more then 2Mb chip like streetrace, virtual karting, total football and swos.
I've made what you say Whitesnake with swos. I've assigned the floppies to cd32 but it works fine with 4 mb on my emulator in a compilation made under the explenation of this site:cd32allianz.de/CD32 Compilations Erstellen. In my new compilation failed to assign floppies and says: can't cancel swos!? Shaq fu ecs works fine. I would try to install epic, do you know this game? Fifa is a damn shit, disktype command doesn't run in the startup. But I would only play with swos on cd32, one of my preferred games. In which case i can remove the preload option of whdload? |

Epic is a great game like wing commander....
If you just want to plays SWOS, why don't you use the CD32 version??? http://hol.abime.net/1870 You're not obliged to use preload option for any WHDLoad game i think excepts those who don't work without But it seems it runs better with this option and there seems to be less loading with this option on |

The international edition is not the same thing.
do you know if master axe (another "great" game) runs on cd32? the game is present in a compilation but fail to load on my cd32 and under emulation. My cd lens is old and boosted with trimmer. |

I can assure you Worms DC runs on 2mb this is on the box of the game, it also works on CD32 setup on winuae with 2mb. The strange thing about Worms DC is the exact same data will run fine from a directory but not the cd.
EDIT: One thing i have noticed is that JST when it has to load it will do the OS flashing quicker which is a little bit better. |

So i think it's quite the same problem than Slamtilt has
Worms DC & Slamtilt Dos Version runs fine on HD but if you try to put them on CD, they crash.. Frostwork has given me an answer about this: He think that is because of the CDRom device wich take some memory and that will be enough to don't have the full 2Mb to run the game....... What do you think of this answer????? |

I've heard of this before but i'm more inclined to think it is a bug with Worms DC as it can be run from a 2mb Workbench. I don't think the the cdrom.device uses much ram but you could try such commands as ADD44k, i've been looking for more commands to squeeze more space into the chip ram but i can't find any other ones at present.

Does somenone have tried this installer for SWOS
http://jffabre.free.fr/amiga/jff_loa...wos_jst_hd.lzx In the readme you can see that it has been tested on a A1200 with no fast successfully The problem is i think this installer is corrupt...... When i launch it, it ask me about the file disk2.raw that can't be found and then crash!!!???? What's the problem????? |
