MultiCore support ?

Hello,

This isn't actually a request but couldn't find a better thread for it, so here it is

I'm wondering if multi-core support could be added to WinUAE in an efficient way. I'm not requesting it, but am just wondering if it would be possible... and if not, why ?

I'm aware that AmigaOS doesn't support multicore so there's no way it would be possible at this level.. But what about for example one core taking care of the 68k emulation, and another one for the custom chips ? Would that be possible ? if not, why ?

Tony ?
