Version Workbench.library, it should return the version. However I think your problems are related to your other posts, file permission problems may cause odd issues. |

Wow, this was a blast from the past.
Just read through this whole thread with a massive smile on my face! Really take me back to the good old days; playing around with WinUAE, putting together updates and game packs etc. Wonderful memories! I cannot believe folks also remember this little package from all those years ago! I may have some slightly more up-to-date AIAB files at home, so might see if I can put something together and make it available to FOL - just for old times sake. Cheers, James x |

MadAngus is currently going through all files to make sure nothing causes any legal issues, but I love AIAB. It was the first and only pre-installed packages I used back in the day of early WinUAE days. |

Your AIAB package was the first thing I used with WinUAE and thought it was awesome! I really think you set the trend for similar packages to follow. If I recall correctly, you had an MP3 on the site. Now if memory serves me right it was "living in a box" but with the words "Amiga in a box" or was that me just imagining things!? |

Ah so it was me imagining things. I thought you'd dubbed it haha... great stuff. Glad you back on the scene and looking forward to your update of AIAB as mentioned above!

FOL, okay, thank you. That'll be good.
Hmm...I don't appear to have my AIAB files any more...just a folder with an r10.6 distribution and AFA-Aros. To be honest, it may take me some time to refamiliarise myself with everything, I've been out of the loop for so long! Perhaps best not to get your hopes up...? Cheers, James x |

Thanks for putting AIAB together Jaybee, was that a decade ago?
It was what finally made WinUAE usable for me. Before, it was all manual downloads and installs. It is still a great snapshot of what we used all those years ago. Living in Asia now? Maybe that explains all those screenshots that had beautiful asian girl wallpapers every update |

It appears that some archives from 2007 are still online here:

I have learned various methods of digging about in the Web Archive.
Mostly you normally see stuff based on the html page you are viewing, but often there are files captured via other sources, or files linked from pages you cannot find. (hint, it is all in how you use the *) I found that my original link to the AIAB site needed updating, but then found that since last year the downloads have been disabled (even the original DLs). Until that situation changes, or someone else hosts the files, here is my resource page http://my.opera.com/Commodore_Amiga/blog/amiga-in-a-box |

Are the copyright-naggers gone already so that AIAB-files can be re-instated on the site?
